Many functions in the Adaptable Blotter use the Selection Tool. This allows you easily to manage both order and visibility.
All Selection Tools have the source list in the left hand side listbox and the result list (showing ordered, visible values) in the right hand side listbox.
For example, the image below shows the Column Chooser popup which includes a Selection Tool to help you choose which columns should be visible and how they should be ordered.
If you want to move all items from the result list to the source list, click on Remove All. If you only want to move some items from the result list, select the items you want to move, and then click the Remove button.
If you want to move all items from the source list to the result list click on Add All. If you only want to move some items from the source list, select the items you want to move, and then click the Add button.
To change the order of the items in the source list, select the item you want to move. Then click Top to move it to the highest position in the list, Bottom to move it to the lowest position in the list, Up to move it up one position, or Down to move it down one position.
Alternatively you can use drag and drop to move elements between the 2 boxes.
