One of the best ways to make your data stand out on a grid is to use Conditional Styles. They allow you to set the look and feel of your rows and columns based on a set of rules. You create the rules by using query (for more information see a Queries).
The Conditional Style popup shows all the styles currently active in your Blotter.
Click the 'New' button in the header in the Conditional Style popup to create a new Conditional Style or the 'Edit' button in any row to edit a Conditional Style. Both will activate the Conditional Style wizard.
In the Conditional Styles wizard you will select the:
Scope: whether the style is applied for a column or an entire row
Colours and Font Properties: use to create the style that suits your needs by selecting the fore and back colours and font elements that you require. Just select those elements that you wish to change from the default setting.
Query: determines when the style will be applied. For more information on building and editing Queries using multiple Conditions and Criteria see Queries
The conditional styles you create will be applied to your grid when a row's values match ALL the criteria you have set. If a row's values do not match the criteria, the default styles will be used instead.
You can edit, delete and share Conditional Styles as you can with all Adaptable Blotter Objects.
